8 mm x 2.1 mm | 3 V | Coin Vibration Motor
Measuring only 8 mm x 2 mm the VC0820B006F is our smallest 8mm coin vibration motor. This motor is supplied with a self adhesive tape which can be used to secure the motor to your PCB or the inner wall of your products housing. It can be ordered without it if not needed for your application. This motor is available with wire leads, however, we can add on our standard connectors to the wire leads. If purchased in minimum lots of 10K pcs we can supply it with a custom FPC (flexible printed circuit). The FPC can be connected to your PCB by “hot bar soldering” or it can mate with pogo pins placed on your PCB.

The VC0820B029L with FPC contact pads is based on the popular leaded version of the same motor, the VC0820B006F. This device is designed to be mounted in a molded recessed pocket in the products housing. PCB mounted contact springs or pogo pings mate with coin LRA's contacts pads. PCBA contact springs are made by TE as well as other companies.

This series of low current coin vibration motor is designed to consume ~ 50% less power than our equivalently sized VC0820B006F. Its ideal for wearable devices with limited battery capacity. G force and RPM is somewhat lower that the VC0820B006F. This motor is only available with wire leads. At your request, we can add either a Molex or AVX ELCO connector to the end of the leads.
