The VLV101080L generates a vibration force in the Z axis, perpendicular to the face of the device. See Mech drawing orientation in XYZ plane. It operates at a resonant frequency of 100 Hz, coupled with 50ms rise and 80ms fall times, allowing this LRA to generate strong haptic effects. This LRA has solder tabs that can be connected to wire leads or another FPC. This can be supplied with a custom cable assembly with a connector. Like all LRA's this device is typically connected to a LRA driver IC which produces the AC drive signal for this device and improves the rise / fall times by employing overdrive and active braking.
