SMD Surface Mount Reflow Vibration Motors |

Our SMD / SMT vibration motors are an excellent choice for efficient high volume mass production. They are packaged on tape / reels of 1000 pieces per reel and are designed to be pick-and-placed directly from the reel. They utilize a “core” type internal structure that allows them to withstand the high temperatures associated with the reflow oven soldering process. Coin type vibration motors can not survive the high heat of the reflow process. These surface mount vibrator motors can be damaged by excessive heat so be sure to follow the reflow oven temperature profile found in the SMD vibration motors data sheet. Any excess flux that enters the motor will damage it. We recommend that “no clean solder paste” be used. In no case can these vibration motors be washed. These motors are not sealed and any liquid entering the motor may damage it. If these motors will be hand soldered ( ie. making prototypes) , do not use flux and use a low wattage iron for as short a time period as possible. Master cartons contain 5 reels of 1000 pcs ea, for a total of 5000 pcs. Contact your Vybronics sales representative for further details. |

The “typical current” is the average current from 20 motors selected at random from a given production lot. Copies of the test report showing the data collected for all 20 motors are available upon request.
